The Project

Rebranding an event agency to better display their unique, playful and daring attitude. This included an experimental web design – with a focus on driving traffic to case studies – by creating a digital playground to discover more about Agency EA.

The Challenge

Creating a brand that is impactful yet doesn’t take away from the true star, the experiential events. Those events also need to be represented in a specific way for each client, as well as allowing for the massive amount of photography with each one.

The Big Idea

Agency EA creates in-depth, real life (and somewhat surreal) experiences for their clients. With big name clients like Samsung, Github and MillerCoors… Each one needs to be treated uniquely and individually to represent who that client (and what AgencyEA can do) in the event space. With the website idea of ‘digital playground’ for the other areas of the site, we chose key pages – like capabilities and about – to include more interactive components to show EA’s character.

The Process

Executing the look in a way that is professional yet quirky is the key. By including large amounts of white space – to let the event photography breathe – with variable width typography and a bold, simple palette… the look becomes fresh, unconventional and fun. To amp up that tone, we also developed an animated photo-illustration style to abstractly represent big ideas.
